EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC FILMS OF LESS THAN 15 MINUTES
In this category, the Jury also wished to attribute a special mention to a film that, due to its subject matter could not be proposed for the global IWFE competition. By doing so, the Jury recognised the film and its pertinence from the standpoint of highlighting traditional knowledge.

FILMS OF LESS THAN 60 MINUTES
For films of less than 60 minutes, the jury decided to award three special prizes, among the many high-quality films that were shown, to films that placed people at the heart of water management policies. These three films will be entered into the global contest at the IWFE Istanbul 2009.
