Recent activities

Many people in Latin America, North America, Africa, Central Asia and Europe are interested in showing their films on water issues to a larger audience. They have access to audiovisual material that we currently offer in our repository. Movies include those presented during the VidéEau Festivals (Water and Film Festivals) held in Mexico, Zaragoza and Istanbul.
Many other parties have also expressed their interest in participating and exploring the development of the concept of International Films and Water.
In this regard we have already discussed partnership possibilities with the World Water Council, the CONAGUA, IRD, UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education, 2iE International Institute for Water and Environmental Engineering and recently with TheWaterChannel.
In light of future developments of RIEC we would like to receive your thoughts and ideas on this. Please respond before the end of September 2009 and send us a partnership proposal (max. 2A4) should you be interested in collaborating with us.
