The first International “Water and Film” events confirm the existence of a culture of films about water that is rich and varied and has the potential to influence water management practices.
Due to the many positive comments we received, the French Water Academy, the CONAGUA and the International Secretariat for Water decided to present the results during the World Water Week in Stockholm. We launched a DVD containing all the prize-winning films and we gathered ideas and suggestions to help us organise the second edition which will take place during the 5th World Water Forum in 2009 in Istanbul.
