The VidéEau Contest is an international video competition organized within the International “Water and Film” Events held every three years in the framework of the World Water Forums.

Every year, since 2007, the VidéEau Contest invites young people aged 17-30 to submit short clips (maximum 1 minute) dealing with the theme of water. By creating these audio visual works, that have a strong impacting message, participants have the opportunity to raise awareness among the public about water issues in different regions of the world.

The best works received are broadcasted in many international events, film festivals and outreach activities aimed at general public.
